So, seriously – how long does it take for one technologically-challenged person to put together a blog? The answer – a loooooong time. I still don’t think I’ve done it correctly. If you have any ideas regarding form or function of this blog, please let me know. I’m open to them!
I really wanted to get a posting up, though. So here it is, for better or worse. As you can probably tell, my life focus is not technology. I have a Masters degree in Biomedical Physiology & Kinesiology and I teach. I teach almost everything! While the focus of MommyMoves Fitness is instructing Pre & Post Natal fitness classes in the water and on land, I also teach future fitness instructors (BCRPA & Can-Fit-Pro) and Kines (short for Kinesiology) students up at SFU.
I have been inspired to write this blog in effort to get more fitness & nutrition related information out to the people who really need it – the pregnant and new moms who are forming the dietary habits of the next generation. I am in a unique position in that I am working with the scientists who are making new discoveries in these areas. Please let me know if there is anything in particular you would like to know about. That is, if my comment boxes are working! If not, contact me on my contact page and I will try and find someone somewhere to fix it!
